KPMG has promoted 39 partners and 127 directors in a pre-Brexit vote of confidence in its UK business.
11 of the new partners are in consulting and over a third of the promoted partners are women.
Bill Michael, Chairman and Senior Partner of KPMG in the UK, said, "These promotions signal the confidence we have in the firm and our capacity for growth. The market opportunity has never been greater. By attracting the best to our partnership we are even better placed to deliver the highest quality work for our clients and help them with their most important challenges."
Anna Purchas, head of people at KPMG, commented, "In addition to the market leading knowledge these colleagues bring to the firm, these appointments also see further progress towards our inclusion and diversity targets: 36% of newly promoted partners are female, up from 29% in 2017, and 10% of new partners come from ethnically diverse backgrounds. For directors, 39% of those promoted are female, up from 32% in 2017 and 15% are from ethnically diverse backgrounds."
