Dilanian to lead Accenture in Russia


Moscow: Accenture has named Vartan Dilanian country managing director for Russia, with effect from March 1, 2012.

Dilanian will be responsible for Accenture's business and operations in Russia, including the company's strategy and business growth objectives in the region.

Vartan Dilanian joined Accenture in April 2011 as managing director of the company's Financial Services operating group in Russia.

David Thomlinson, senior managing director — Geographic Strategy & Operations said, "Russia is one of Accenture's priority emerging markets and we are fortunate to have someone with Vartan's energy and experience leading our business, serving our clients and driving growth in this market."

"I am pleased to be leading one of the strongest management consulting, IT and outsourcing teams in Russia today and look forward to serving our clients moving forward," said Dilanian.

Accenture has had a presence in Russia for 20 years and provides clients with the full range of consulting, technology and outsourcing services. The company has an office in Moscow and a delivery centre in Tver.
