London: Deloitte has promoted senior partner Mark Doleman to lead its UK entrepreneurial business practice. Doleman takes the reins from Tony Cohen who is taking on a global entrepreneurial business leadership role.
Doleman has spent twelve years as a Deloitte partner, and his experience working with private equity backed businesses and entrepreneurial organisations spans more than two decades.
He has been the senior partner in Deloitte's Nottingham office for the past seven years, leading the entrepreneurial business practice across the Midlands. He will lead the UK entrepreneurial business team from Nottingham, where he will continue to service clients across the Midlands.
Doleman said, "I am passionate about supporting and strengthening entrepreneurialism, even in the toughest of economic climates. Entrepreneurial business have unique needs and we have seen time and time again that with the right support, small owner-backed organisations can quickly turn into national — and even international — forces.
"We are facing a really difficult market, both at home and in Europe but I am confident that the entrepreneurial spirit that we see every day from our clients will prevail despite the challenging economic headwinds."
