Christophe De Vusser to run Bain's Brussels operation

Brussels: Global strategy group Bain & Compan has appointed consumer products and private equity expert Christophe De Vusser as managing partner of its Brussels office.

In his new role, De Vusser will oversee all office operations including, growth planning, training, development and management of professional teams and general office administration. He will continue to lead the local Private Equity practice and serve clients in consumer goods.

"Christophe is a key member of our firm's global partnership and an effective client and Bain team leader," said Olivier Marchal, regional managing director for Bain in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

"With Christophe's successful track record, we'll continue helping our clients achieve growth in this accelerated risk environment and navigate other challenges they are facing in Europe and elsewhere," said Marchal.

De Vusser joined Bain's Brussels office in 2000 and has advised clients across multiple industries, mainly focused on private equity and consumer goods. In private equity he has extensive experience in portfolio company value creation, due diligence and fund strategy. In consumer goods he has helped multiple clients on growth and transformation strategies.

Before he joined Bain he worked at Procter & Gamble's European headquarters in Brussels and Geneva. He earned a Master of Civil Engineering and Master of Multilingual Business Communication from the University of Ghent.

De Vusser succeeds Nicolas Bloch who will continue to serve clients in Belgium, and to lead Bain's Strategy Practice for the EMEA region.
