Sir Hector Sants joins Oliver Wyman

New York, London: Sir Hector Sants is to join international management consultancy Oliver Wyman as a Partner and Vice Chairman. He will be based in the London office from July 1, 2015. The firm says Sants will draw from his extensive corporate governance, regulatory reform, and management experience in both the public and private sectors, most recently at Barclay's Bank, where he served as Head of Compliance and Government and Regulatory Relations. From July, 2007 to June, 2012, Sir Hector was the Chief Executive of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in the UK, the financial regulatory body then responsible for oversight of the integrity of the UK's financial markets. He led the FSA during the financial crisis and reorganized it into the current conduct and prudential structure prior to his departure.
