TCS awarded for Germany work

Frankfurt, Mumbai: India's biggest IT consultancy, Tata Consultancy Services, has received the 'Outstanding Contributor' award from the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC), in recognition of the leading role it has played in improving the economic relationship between Germany and India. The award was presented at the 58th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IGCC in Mumbai. TCS was recognized for its, "investment in creating a strong local operation in Germany, which is contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of the German economy, while strengthening employment creation." TCS has significantly expanded its presence in Germany in recent years, with its revenues growing 134% from 2010-2013 along with the recruitment of over 500 staff in Germany during the same period.
