Atos, Accenture win eu-LISA deal

Brussels: The European Agency for Large-Scale IT Systems (eu-LISA) has awarded a consortium of Atos, Accenture and HP a framework contract to maintain and enhance the second-generation Schengen Information System (SIS II). The contract is for three years with a possible one-year extension. As consortium leader, ATOS will ensure the" corrective and evolutionary maintenance" of SIS II; it developed and supported the operation of the SIS I system, deployed until 2013. Accenture will work on the software architecture of SIS II to increase system performance and functionality.
