Deloitte sees record score

London: Premier League clubs' revenue reached a record £2,525m in 2012/13, according to the 23rd Annual Review of Football Finance from the Sports Business Group at Deloitte. In total, the revenue of the top 92 clubs in English football reached almost £3.2 billion. Over 75% of the Premier League clubs' revenue increase was spent on wages, which rose by £125m (8%) to £1.8 billion and resulted in their overall wages to revenue ratio reaching a record high of 71%. It estimates that Premier League clubs' revenue will have increased by almost 30% to £3.2 billion in 2013/14.
