Sogeti appoints new CEO

Paris: Capgemini Group has appointed Hans van Waayenburg as CEO of Sogeti, Capgemini's wholly-owned technology and software testing subsidiary. He succeeds Luc-François Salvador and joins the Executive Committee of the Capgemini Group. Luc-François Salvador takes on the responsibility of re-grouping operations in Asia-Pacific under one Capgemini Group unit and stays a member of the Executive Committee of the Group. van Waayenburg, 57, joined the Capgemini Group in 2002. He has been the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Sogeti Group since January 2012 and Chairman of the board for Sogeti Netherlands.
