Infosys revenues recover

Bangalore: Indian IT services consultancy Infosys saw net profit down 11% to $383 million in its second quarter to September 30th, on revenues up 15% to $2.066 billion. The firm added 68 clients during the quarter, and nearly 3000 staff, and says its Big Data and Cloud offerings are gathering momentum. One issue causing trouble for Infosys is currency volatility, with the Indian Rupee depreciating 11% in the quarter.
