Bonn: German strategy consulting firm and world leading pricing advisor, Simon-Kucher & Partners, is still on track for another record-breaking year, despite the eurozone crisis.
It reports that Q3 2012 revenue was up 24% on the same quarter last year, reaching EUR 107.4 million (USD 140 million).
Currently, incoming orders total almost EUR 117 million (USD 150 million).
"We are still growing considerably stronger than the market and anticipate record revenues of over EUR 140 million (USD 180 million) for 2012," commented joint- CEOs Klaus Hilleke and Georg Tacke.
The firms points out that it has underpinned this growth with significant investment this year; 129 employees have been hired so far this year — two-thirds of them outside of Germany. The Simon-Kucher team now comprises 650 professionals worldwide.
Tacke and Hilleke report that all industries and markets have contributed to the growth surge. They says that even amidst the eurocrisis, business in Europe, especially in Germany, has made considerable headway in 2012.
"The insecurity caused by widespread media reports of the crisis is being felt by very few of our clients, if any at all," said Hilleke.
Simon-Kucher generates approximately half of its revenue outside of its home market. The US, France and the UK are particularly key markets for business.
The consulting firm will continue to focus on growth and to systematically drive internationalization. Tacke added, "In summer we opened a new office in Dubai and we just recently founded another one in Turkey. By spring 2013 we will be serving the Latin American market out of our new local offices in Brazil and Chile."
