Grant Thornton boosts UK consulting with Navigant acquisition

London: Accountancy-led professional services group Grant Thornton UK LLP has boosted its financial services team with the acquisition of the specialist UK financial services advisory arm of consulting firm, Navigant Consulting, Inc.. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Grant Thornton says the acquisition of Navigant's 45 strong team, incorporating three new partners and nine directors, brings a strong track record in the retail financial services market and a particular focus on the challenger banks.
