London: Capita's consulting business is the latest company to join the Institute of Consulting's (IC) growing practice membership base.
As part of the membership, the IC will be working with Capita's Talent Management Practice (TMP), which supports the professional development of all new management consultants, upon joining the business.
Capita has developed a Professional Development Manual (PDM) for all new senior consultants, to ensure they meet standards of excellence in consulting. The IC has reviewed the programme and awarded a kite mark in recognition of its quality and standards of excellence.
Consultants successfully graduating from the TMP programme will be awarded with an Institute of Consulting/Capita Certificate of Consultancy Professional Standard of Excellence and be eligible for full IC member status.
Keith Rowling, managing director of Capita's consulting business comments, "We look forward to working closely with The Institute of Consulting on our Talent Management Practice programme. Ensuring our consultants are trained to the highest standard is something we pride ourselves on, and it's great to be acknowledged by the IC for our dedication to this."
Stella Bowdell, Head of the Institute of Consulting said, "In a competitive market, consultants with professional qualifications and memberships stand to gain an edge as it gives potential clients security and peace of mind.
