Mannheim: German consulting group Camelot Management Consultants has expanded its presence in the Gulf, opening an office in Riyadh.
The firm set up a Dubai branch in the United Arab Emirates earlier this year.
"With this second office in the Gulf Region we are emphasizing our firm's strong position in the Middle East," explained Dr. Josef Packowski, Camelot's managing partner.
Not surprisingly, the new operation will have a particular focus on the petrochemical industry. Marcus Meissner, the partner responsible for the Middle East region, added: "Camelot Management Consultants has already been advising both international and local customers operating in the Middle East for a number of years, which is why we were the first ever European consulting firm to be a member of the Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association (GPCA). For us, a local presence in Saudi Arabia is the next logical step to our expansion in the Gulf Region."
